An integrated pouring lip allows for controlled, accurate pours with reduced spillage and metal loss.

Pro Tip: Season Before First Use (Strongly Recommended)
Seasoning helps prevent metal from sticking and significantly extends the life of the crucible.
How to season:
Add a small amount of borax (sodium borate) powder to the dish
Heat gently with a torch until the borax melts into a clear, glassy coating
Tilt and rotate to coat the entire interior, including the pouring lip
Allow to cool completely before use
This creates a protective glaze that improves metal flow and protects the ceramic.
