Sponge Filter (Up to 20 gallon)
Sponge Filter – Quiet, Reliable Filtration (Up to 20 Gallon Aquariums)
This sponge filter is designed for aquariums up to 20 gallons, offering gentle and dependable filtration for small to medium tanks. The high-density sponge provides effective mechanical and biological filtration, helping remove debris while supporting beneficial bacteria for stable water quality.
Powered by an air pump (not included), the filter runs quietly and creates smooth water movement that won’t stress fish or disturb plants. With no motor and no strong suction, it’s safe for shrimp, fry, and sensitive fish, making it a great choice for community tanks, breeder setups, and quarantine aquariums.
In my opinion, this size is perfect if a nano filter feels too small but you don’t need a large, heavy-duty sponge yet—simple, efficient, and easy to maintain.
