These massive ships stood out for their “extras”, like the level of first-class suite luxury as well as the technology, adapting watertight compartments, remotely operated doors, electricity, and Marconi wireless telegraphy. It says much about human ambition and capability during that time. And though man can never compete with the ocean's power, we can surely create machines that exist harmoniously with it.
